Ian Malaj professional education in art at the National School of Painting Sculpture and Engraving "La Esmeralda" dependent (INBA) Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes, belonging to the generation of Graduates 1991-96. Ian Malaj professional education in art at the National School of Painting Sculpture and Engraving "La Esmeralda" dependent (INBA) Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes, belonging to the generation of Graduates 1991-96. In 1996 she takes classes in drawing and painting with two renowned artist José Luis Cuevas and Raul Anguiano.

 

In 1997 he traveled to Greece to study at the School of Iconography and Agios Ioannis Pirgos Music where he studied the iconographic knowledge, Nikos Papailiou. Later in 1998 he moved to Kilkis Macedonia to study theology, iconography and Greek Language School Ecclesiastical ¨ Agii Kirilos & Methodios ¨.

From 1999 to 2001 study in Athens Greece Cretan and Macedonian techniques of Byzantine iconography in the workshops of two great artists: Dimitris Haziapostolou and Fotini Papantoniou. Malaj Ian has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, and then describe only the most significant:

  • 1989 "Yesterday and today in the pictorial work" in the Gallery Ixcateopan. Opened by the Director of the "Casa Pedro Domecq" Mr. Salvador Sadd. Acapulco Gro.
  • 1995 Exhibition in Homage to Luis Donaldo Colosio "at the Royal Museum of Mining. Mexico DF.
  • 1996 "after the fight" in Gallery "La Esmeralda" National Center for the Arts. Mexico DF.
  • 1996 "Homage to Andre Breton," the exhibition was inaugurated by the Ambassador of France. Mr. Bruno Delaye. Mexico DF.
  • 2001, June 1914. participated in the Byzantine art exhibition at the Cultural Center "Agia Paraskevi" Athens Greece
  • 2002, April. participated in the exhibition "Icons and Emboss" in the Gallery Esther Samano, inaugurated the Cultural Attaché of the Embassy of Greece Mrs. Vasiliki Chatsiou.
  • 2004, April. participated in traditional painting exhibition, inaugurated by the writer Jorge Soria Murillo in the Café Gallery Arantza of Chilpancingo Guerrero.
  • 2004, September 1923. Expo was presented "The Gomez's Payan Payan, in H. Municipality of Chilpancingo Guerrero.
  • 2005 May. presents his work in the "festival of youth", the Government House State of Guerrero. Event opened by the C. CP State Governor Zeferino Torreblanca Galindo.
  • 2005, February 3. Sample opens pictorial photography, "The Plastic and current Tixtla Architecture" presented at the studio on March 3, Tixtla City.

  • 2005, September 1928. Expo, "Homage to the Maestro Jaime A. Gomez del Payan, "presented at the studio on March 3. Opened the Minister of the Judiciary State of Guerrero, Mr. Virginia López Valencia.

Ian made Malaj professional historical studies of visual art from 1991 to 1996 in the National School of Paint, Sculpture and Engraved "La Esmeralda" which Belongs to the INBA (National Institute of Fine Arts), in Mexico City. DURING this time I hand the Opportunity of Collaborating with the Master painter Jaime A. Gomez del Payan Various mural in historical works. Having His career finished in 1996, Took lessons of drawing and painting with Jose Luis Cuevas and Raul Anguiano, master painters.

In 1997 I travels to Greece to study Byzantine Art in the Agios Ioannis Iconography School, in Pyrgos. The next year I moves to the city of Kilkis, Macedonia, to study Iconography and Greek language, at the School "and Methodios Kirilos Agii."

Ian Malaj've Accomplished Countless individual and group exhibition, with important Participating artists, to mention Some of Them: Sebastian, Manuel Felgueres, Silvia Pardo, Guillermo Ceniceros, Philip Prager, Leonardo Nierman and Many Others.

Among main historical exhibitions in Mexico City are: "Posthumous Homage to Luis Donaldo Colosio," Which WAS Presented in the Royal Museum of Mining, Which WAS Presented in the book "Posthumous Homage", the exposition "Landscapes an my Madonna" made in one year after the Muses of the National Music Conservatory Gallery. Also Participate in the Graduation Exposition "After the Lydia" at the Emerald Gallery, inaugurate by Dr. Gerardo Estrada, Director of the National Institute of Fine Arts. As well, made part of the exhibition "Homage to André Breton, at the Emerald Gallery, inaugurate by His Excellency the French Ambassador, M. Bruno Delaye.

In Acapulco, Participate in the exhibition "Yesterday and today on pictorial chores" at the Ixcateopan Gallery, Pedro Domecq inaugurate by the House Director, Mr Salvador Saad.

His exposition Most Recent Was Made in Athens, Greece in the "Cultural Center of Agia Paraskevi", where, with two Iconography Cretin Studied great masters of Byzantine Iconography, and Photini Hatziapostolou Dimitris Papantoniou. Nowadays, I works on Preparing future historical pictorial exhibition.
